Parque Alvear is a large city park in San Luis, Prasia, dominating most of San Rafael and eastern parts of Villa Mateo. The park is home to many monuments and fountains, including Monumento a Garza, as well as the official residence of the President, the Palacio Echeverria. The Plaza Aguirre is also located within the boundaries of the park.

The park is divided by two pedestrian roads; Paseo Contreras, which goes from the north to the south of the park, and Paseo Salazar, which goes from the east to the west of the park.

More recently, the park has been used as a venue for events including concerts, festivals and protests. The park is also the venue for a large segment for the San Luis Marathon.
